Life After the NICU

FIRST RIDE IN THE CARSEAT!!!  WE ARE ACTUALLY ON OUR WAY HOME!!!

                                      

The Pourciau's had a surprise for me in the frontyard!!!

Erin, Clare's godmother, came to see her at HOME for the first time EVER!!!

Second day HOME!!!

Breathing treatments every 3 hours!!!!

The Chases came to visit!!!

Auntie DeDe came ALL the time to visit...she helped me not go "completely" insane.  LOL!

My cousin, Dooky, came to visit before he left for school in Paris!

Mr. Lester and Ms. Vanessa came by to visit!!! We love the Pourciaus!!!

Uncle JJ came to visit!

Clare's 2nd Halloween....but the FIRST outside of the hospital.  Obviously, we can't go trick or treating but I still dressed her up!!!

Clare Bear loves her books!!!

Clare's off Oxygen!  Wooo Hoooo!!! The Chases came by to visit and celebrate!!! We made cupcakes!!!

Clare still wasn't able to leave the house at this point.  She was off of oxygen (still on it at night, though), but her immune system was extremely weak.  So her doctors wanted her to have very little contact with others.  So whenever the "cabin fever" would kick in, I'd put her by the window and she and Max would be as nosy as Pearl on 227!!!  LOL!!!

Father, from St. Peter Claver, came to visit!!!

First Christmas at home!!!

Her Pulmonologist said that her immune system was strong enough for her to be outside.  These pictures are the first time we were able to walk outside the door together.  Auntie DeDe came by to celebrate with us!!!
