This is the Story of our family (Derrick, Raya, Clare, Lloren, and our dog Max) as we go thru the miraculous mayhem that is the life of Clare, a Micro Preemie. We hope sharing our story will strengthen other families going thru a similar situation, help share information/experiences/resources regarding the care of a special needs child and even be therapeutic for both us and anyone who reads this. We embrace the mayhem that comes with our miracles,Clare and Lloren (our full-term 1 yr. old). For us this journey is a blessing. How blessed are we to be able to witness God's power every single day!!!! I am so thankful to see the miracle of Clare's survival and development and the miracle of Lloren's life and development that comes so naturally and innately. Having both of those so to speak "extremes" in my life allows me to appreciate the miraculousness of life!!! And the mayhem we speak of is just our way of describing our daily life and how we adjust/cope/accept/and WELCOME all of the Mayhem!!! After all, if there was no mayhem, that would mean there was no miracle, right?
